School of Mathematical Sciences PhD Scholarships

The School of Mathematical Sciences in DCU is offering PhD scholarships, funded by the Faculty of Science and Health. These scholarships, in the Mathematical Sciences, start in September 2022 and are fully-funded for two years. The funding covers postgraduate fees, plus an annual stipend of €18500.

Successful applicants are expected to make applications to the Irish Research Council under the Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme to fund the remainder of their studies.

Closing Date

The deadline for applications is 5pm Friday, 10 June 2022.

How to Apply

Interested applicants should contact a prospective supervisor within the School of Mathematical Sciences, and submit the following to maths@dcu.ie:
- A copy of the applicant’s CV;
- Transcripts of results;
- Two letters of recommendation;
- A covering letter describing the applicant’s motivation, and identifying their proposed supervisor.
